Paranormal investigators claim the ghost of the Yorkshire Ripper told them to go away after they contacted him.

Karl Hassall and Sam Singleton stood in the flat of one of his victims, Patricia Atkinson, known as Tina.

Peter Sutcliffe murdered the sex worker in the now derelict, ground-floor bedsit in 1977.

The ghost hunters used a spirit box to try to communicate with her. They claim they made contact with Tina, 32, who called out to them.

But they say a male voice then came in, which they claim was that of the serial killer, who died in November last year aged 74. They say he asked them to leave the scene during the eerie exchange.

In a video the ghost hunters made of their visit, Sam reads through how Sutcliffe murdered Tina as they arrived in the flat in Bradford, West Yorks.

He recalls how Tina received blows to the head with a hammer before she was stripped and hit with a chisel. Karl says he’s “freaking out”, to which Sam responds: “I feel sick in here.”

A voice is then heard to say through their device: “Out you go.” The pair continue to try communicating with Tina, asking if Sutcliffe still torments her.
