A baby goat with a human-like face has appeared in Gangapur, Dholai Vidhan Sabha district, Assam (a state in northeastern India).
There were certain sections of the goat’s beard head that resembled that of the human. The goat’s offspring lacked even the most basic of distinguishing features, such as a tail.
According to sources, a goat owned to Shankar Das gave birth to a stillborn infant, the child was deformed and resembled the shape of a newborn human kid.
As the disfigured goat kid drew crowds of onlookers to Das’s home, some of them snapped a picture of him and posted it on social media. It was eventually discovered that the child had died shortly after delivery and was buried.
Mutant animals frequently draw attention in India because many people believe they are a sign from the gods.
A similar incident occurred earlier this year where an Indonesian fisherman claimed to have captured a shark with what seemed to be a “human face.”
When the fishermen cut up the pregnant shark they caught, they discovered three pups within it. Two of the creatures resembled the mother, while the third seemed to be a human – according to the fisherman.
The baby shark, which was smaller than a human hand, had huge human-like eyes and a mouth. Undeterred by its bizarre appearance, the fisherman took the dead unborn shark home claiming he intend to preserve it as it would bring him good luck from the gods.
