Many Ghanaians believe the decision to spend huge sums of money in preparing and putting up a special edifice for the late Sir John is a complete waste of money.

This is the collective reaction from Ghanaians following photos making rounds on social media which gives a clear account of a special edifice built to house the mortal remains of the NPP stalwart.

According to report, the edifice is a three-bedroom house fully air-conditioned with ultra-modern furnishing. This is to honour Sir John for his work and contribution to Ghana.

It took close to a year for the edifice to put up at Sakora Wonnoo in the Ashanti Region to serve as the final resting place for Sir John.

For Example; Ghana Yesu on Twitter wrote: Ghanaian leaders and unnecessary things, people are on the street searching place to sleep and you’re there giving Sir John who is not alive this place.

Annan Perry Arhin wrote: I like Sir John a lot but this is a waste of money! Resting place paa could cost millions of cedis

News Speak wrote: Even the dead has a place to lay their head, but the son of man! A befitting place of rest for the Late Sir John – former #NPP General Secretary.

Paa Kwesi wrote: Currently speaking there’s a water shortage in Sir John’s home town but the govt decided to build a fully air-condition 3 bedrooms tomb for his corpse. BibiniRawlings koraa was hurriedly buried and didn’t get such treat
