Social media commentator Kwame A Plus born Kwame Obeng Asare has said that members of Civil Society Organization Occupy Ghana have become quiet because they are currently enjoying.

Occupy Ghana during the John Dramani Mahama administration was a vibrant entity which worked at exposing the ills in the administration.

They did this by organizing protests and occupying spaces just so the citizens of Ghana will realize that the John Dramani Mahama administration performed poorly.

However, not much is seen or heard of them since the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo administration took over in 2017.

Speaking on this, Kwame A Plus in an interview on TV3 disclosed that some members of the pressure group are occupying well paying positions in the government and therefore see no wrong or hear no wrong.

He described Occupy Ghana as a n NPP civil society organization with members who fought for their stomachs and not that of the country.

He questioned whether the National Peace Council and Christian Council were still in force because they use to be vibrant during the John Dramani Mahama administration.

“There are very few people in this country who have been the same. Like Brights Simmons, Franklin Cudjoe and even Kennedy Agyapong. He criticizes NDC, he criticizes NPP. Occupy Ghana as a civil soiety organization is NPP. The kind of noise that they made during John Mahama’s time with the demonstration, with the occupy flagstaff house. Now most them have positions in this same government and there is dumsor and everyone is quiet,” he said.
