Ibrahim Muhammed, a 40-year-old father of six, was brutally killed by unknown assailants outside his home in Ejura, Ghana’s Ashanti Region.
His death is thought to be linked to his activity as an activist, both online and offline, as part of the Fix The Country campaign.
Sahada Hudu, the deceased’s widow, claimed he had gotten warnings about his activism from someone she knew, but that her efforts to dissuade him from putting himself in risk were fruitless since he proceeded with his campaigning.
Following his death, Ejura’s youngsters staged a protest to demand answers from authorities.
Sadia Abubakar, Abdul Nasir Yussif’s sister, has sought justice for her brother, who was shot and murdered by teenagers during a demonstration in Ejura Sekyedumase in the Ashanti Region.
