Police arrests Housewife over alleged attempt to sell co-wife’s 2-year-old son

A Nigerian housewife has been arrested over an alleged attempt to sell her co-wife’s two-year-old son in the Gusau area of Zamfara State.

Reports suggest that the suspect who hails from Danyade Kaya village in Maradi, Niger Republic was arrested on January 8th, 2022

The Zamfara Police Commissioner, CP Ayuba Elkana paraded her among suspects at a press in Gusau on Thursday, January, 13th.

The woman confessed to having stolen the co-wife’s son to retaliate against the theft of her son by the co-wife and also to help her raise money for her basic needs.
