The Founder and Leader of United Progressive Party (UFP) Akwasi Addai Odike has assured that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his appointees are automatic candidates for jail if he becomes president.

He disclosed to host Yaw Mensah Joel on Kumasi-based Oyerepa Fm’s Breakfast Show monitored by MyNewsGH.com that he would ensure that the country’s prisons are expanded as part of his infrastructural agenda to accommodate them.

“When I become President, I will jail Akufo-Addo and his appointees. I will as part of my infrastructural development agenda expand the prisons in the country in order to be able to accommodate them. Akufo-Addo is the number one person to be thrown into jail. This government…from Akufo-Addo who is number to go into prison”, he swore to make it happen under his presidency.

The Businessman cum politician, a month ago attacked what he described as bad economic leadership under President Akufo-Addo government anticipating a lot of businessmen in the country will soon die if nothing is done immediately.

“Most Ghanaians are seeking to commit suicides under the presidency of the Akufo-Addo due to untoward economic hardship the New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration has brought. I can swear by Bishop that many in the country are looking for pesewas to buy pesticides to commit suicide under Akufo-Addo but no money”, he claimed.

During a panel discussion MyNewsGh.com monitored on Kumasi-based Akoma FM, Mr. Akwasi Addai Odike claimed to the host that “the economy is not favorable to us at all”.
